I went to Dr Goncalves for just a second opinion. I quickly realized how experienced this guy really is, he sent me for tests that other drs/ surgeons never suggested uncovered the root of my problem. He talks frankly and like a regular person. Truly does not get any better. Low key gangster in the best possible way.

Dr Gonclaves what can I say - from the moment he entered the room for my initial consultation there was no need to look for any other surgeon. Right away I asked when we schedule my valve and aorta replacement which was a complicated surgery. I had no fear-cause I trusted this man with my life. The operation was a success even on the day of surgery April 5th, a earthquake struck NY and NJ I was under the knife during this event and Dr Gonclaves did not feel a thing I thank God for this surgeons experience and commitment to excellence. Doctor Goncalves, is a great heart surgeon, I highly recommend him. He has done the impossible for my mom of which no one wanted to do because she was a high risk patient. I can not thank him enough for saving my mother, she suffered 2 heart attacks within the past month, and wouldn't have survived another, surgery couldn't be held right away because her A1C was extremely high, he put her on a diet, recommended she get seen by many specialists, overall she managed to bring down her A1C, surgery finally happened. This doctor did his thing, and did it well. Him and his staff are all the best, and all the staffs at south shore university hospital, Thank you all for everything you've done for my mom while she was in recovery.
