Yijun Cheng, MD

Dr. Cheng and his entire staff are phenomenal! They are very professional and caring! I'm really glad that I am a patient of Buffalo Medical Group as a whole! Plus I am thankful that they hold all of their doctors and staff to the highest standards. No doubt that they are 5-Star all the way!

Dr. Cheng is a very kind, caring, knowledgeable, professional and thorough doctor. I suffer from severe anxiety, so this second cancer diagnosis hit me really hard and he was so calm and caring and explained everything with compassion and patience. He took time explaining everything and was extremely helpful with all my questions and concerns. Great bedside manner. Very focused on you as the patient and made me feel more at ease going over treatment options, and explaining my treatment plan. He answered all my questions and made me feel like he really cared during a very difficult time. I would also like to add that the office staff (including his nurse practitioner) are all amazing!!! They are all so kind and caring and empathetic and so helpful with everything I've needed.

I felt like I was bothering him with coming in for my appointment. I was told by my primary doctor to see him and when I did he made me feel like I was bothering him "when everything is fine. Why are you here". The hospital provider also suggested I check in with him. All of my previous appointments were good, but now I feel like I should never see him again

My office experience was fine. Sign in was pleasant and efficient. I was impressed with the Dr's thoroughness but, was quite concerned that he told me "if I find anything wrong I will get back to you". Then scheduled me to come back in 4 months. I traveled 1.5 hours to the visit. I can go to my PCP 10 minutes away to get that answer. I will get the results from my blood work sent to my PCP then will request to go to another specialist.

Dr Cheng is very personable, listens to all of my concerns and questions. Allows me to be apart of my treatment plan. Always responds to my question, addresses my question personally by calling me instead of messages via the portal. All of his staff have been very kind, professional and respectful. I am grateful to all of the staff that work with and for Dr Cheng.
