I went in to the walk in clinic an hour prior to them closing (after calling ahead to make sure this was sufficient time) & after the receptionist, reluctantly checked me in, and I went through the weigh in process and the team took my vitals, they told me since I was not in any danger there was nothing they could do for me since they were too close to closing time. When Karen walked in the room I couldn't even talk I was so full of emotion, over run with disappointment after yet another dead end, as I was sitting there in so much pain and discomfort. Karen was calm & patient with me. She gave me hope. When everyone else in the office that day tried to turn me away she offered an ear to listen and did everything she could. She set up the tests she could and made the appointments for me to come back for the ones that I couldn't do that day. She truly is what we need to see more of in our healthcare system! I wish that I could see her again!
