Dr. Kevin M. Woods is Board Certified in Cardiovascular Diseases, Cardiovascular Computed Tomography, Nuclear Medicine, Echocardiography and Internal Medicine. Prior to joining Capital Cardiology he was a Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Army, a Staff Cardiologist and Assistant Professor of Medicine at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Washington, DC. While there he was awarded the distinction of Master Clinician. He is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society and a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and the American College of Cardiology. Dr. Woods is particularly interested in preventative cardiology and cardiovascular imaging.

Dr Woods is always polite, he answers all questions in layman terms, and is always well dressed. I did have to wait for him, but knowing it happens with doctors has become a norm. Dr Woods seems to be a down-to-earth type guy. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a cardiologist
My husband and I both see Dr. Woods! He is an excellent cardiologist. He takes his time to listen to your concerns. You never feel rushed which is very unusual these days. We highly recommend Dr. Woods as the care he provides is stellar!!!
This was my first visit with Dr. Woods. I was very impressed with his attitude of being thorough but not an alarmist. He is very personable and willing to answer questions rather than rushing in a right back out.

At Capital Cardiology in Clifton Park, the nurse was great and friendly Dr. Woods talk to me and told me what my test results were and that I should watch my intake of alcohol is OK if I just have one drink here and there also watch fats and your sugar he is always thorough And easy to talk to.
