He is on staff at St. Peter's Hospital and Albany Medical Center in Albany, NY as well as St. Mary's Hospital and Samaritan Hospital in Troy, NY. He currently is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine at the Albany Medical College and immediate past president of Albany Medical Center Hospital Medical Staff. I've been a patient of Dr Atalay's for a number of years. He's always pleasant, professional and knowledgeable. I know I'm getting the best of care and have full confidence in him and his staff. He announced his upcoming retirement at my recent visit and I'm so sad to see him go! Although he deserves a long and happy retirement! Dr. Atalay has been my cardiologist for more than a decade. I collaborated with him on preventive care and because of his expertise, I have maintained excellent health. He is thorough, dedicated, personable and committed to his patients. Kudos to him for all of the great care he's provided to his patients. He's the best!!
Dr. Atalay is a very nice polite caring doctor . I have had him past 10yrs. Always greets you with a smile and chitchats with you before getting down to business . He listens to you and does what he thinks is best. I really hate to see him leave but understand it's his time to enjoy life. I hate starting over with a new doctor.
Dr. Atalay is a great doctor and a warm, caring person. He announced his retirement at my recent appointment....I'm happy for him, but sad for me. I will miss him, but I wish him a long, happy retirement.
