I have been with this group my entire life. I first saw Dr. Eric Spooner when I was around 2-years-old. That man saved my life three times. When he said he was retiring, I was sad, but I trusted that man with my life. And I knew that whoever was going to be coming in to take over for him would be just as amazing. Dr. Velvis is a very caring and funny man. He takes his time with his patients, and he's very thorough. So thorough that he too saved my life in February of 2019. He would not let me leave his office until he had made sure that what he suspected was true. My appointment started at 1:00, and we didn't leave until after 5:00. Dr. Velvis is a fantastic doctor and a beautiful human being.

This man was wonderful with my two boys and the pro longed qt syndrome..everyone in his office was always polite and dr.Velvis always made us feel at ease and always was very gentle and explained everything so I could understand what was going on..my sons are now men and see a adult cardiologist but always referred everyone too this practice because there wonderful people

Did not perform an echo on my 13 year old son, who was refereed to him for immediate concerns after a sleep study found issues with beats.
He did an ekg only and said my son had a normal heart beat and did not need any follow up.
Fast forward 5 years.
We moved states. My primary care dr heard the gallop, I dismissed citing dr velvis consult , dr said didn't have those records yet and sent him for a cardio consult.
My son just had open heart surgery for atrial septal defect ( having a HUGE 29mm hole in his heart) and has life long effects ( incomplete right bundle branch block, enlarged right sided heart and sinus bradycardia to name a few) from having had the hole for so long (SINCE BIRTH AND WOULD HAVE BEEN FOUND IF THIS QUACK DID AN ECHO YEARS AGO).
