Very surprised by these poor reviews. Dr. Colon is wonderful (my goodness he literally called me while he was on vacation once because my daughters oxygen levels were registering very low). The reception staff has always been kind and the echo-tech and nurses who do my daughters ekgs are always so pleasant.
Dr. Colon was wonderful, but the office staff (in Albany) is incompetent in billing our insurance company. After getting our insurance information SEVERAL times, refusing to call our insurance company, and our insurance company contacting them SEVERAL times, the bill is now over 90 days, insurance declined payment, and the cardiology office is illegally trying to get us to pay the bill. For another visit, they made the bill appear to have some insurance adjustment, but our insurance company has not received the information for the second visit. We do not recommend if you are paying with insurance.
Parents please get a second opinion. As the docs were scheduling my (at that time) 2 year old for surgical repair of a pda, I went to NYC for a second opinion .. That was not necessary! Today my daughter is healthy and has been healed for years without surgery!!!
