Albany Medical Center Cardiology

My name is James Graczyk and I had a heart biopsy on Friday 8/16/24 at 8:30am in the cathlab. Unfortunately, I forgot to get my care nurse' name but wanted to give her a 5* rating for her treatment of me today. I couldn't have asked for better. She was tall, slender with blonde hair and took great care of me while there. Everyone there including the techs and doctors were fantastic but my nurse was the best. Hope she gets proper credit for this.

Idk what's going on there, I know they have long (3hr+) wait times and frequently have shortages of beds, but do they even read patient charts and records when they come in? My dad has had severe heart issues for many years and has been a long time patient of AM, his cardiologist is there, but last week he went in with heart attack symptoms and whoever was there said he was fine and released him. Within 2 days he nearly died of a massive heart attack with 100% blockage!! Thank God he prayed in the ambulance and the driver recommended he go to Ellis where 19 medical staff were waiting for him. He had to be cardioverted over 15 times without sedation cuz he kept flat lining. He's still at Ellis days later being carefully monitored and cared for. Thank God for a caring staff at Ellis!!! Whoever is responsible for releasing him from AM should be fired. Patients shouldn't be treated like customers of a busy fast food restaurant. Their negligence and lack of care almost cost my dad his life .

Cardiologist: Dr Alderisio it's terrific he is professional attentive knowledgeable and caring including his staff ESP Jenna S has been great patient with me easy to understand and very professional and knowledgeable Thank you

Dr yager knows his stuff.. him and his team are awesome. Know that you are in good hands when you go there!!! If I could give them a 10 star rating I would .

The Entire Cardiology team and Nurses of the ICU are truly lifesaving angels.
