In my experience Zolnick does the basics from a book that was written at least 20 years ago and nothing more. He hurries through appointments and gives patients short-shrift. He seems to care very little about his patients. He also has a strong resentment for any patient who wants or obtains a second opinion from his. I've tried both him and Simard at this same facility. Perhaps there's a new doctor at this Santa Fe facility who'd be worth your time but I'd suggest a drive to ABQ to see Dr White or Dr Khoo.

Superb reputation. But what does it matter when appointments are impossible to get and test results are never reported back to you. In our case, an ecocardiogram showed serious problems (reported by our GP), but the Heart Institute did not call us with the results, and Zolnick did not request an immediate follow up appointment. We are also looking for a new cardiologist, preferably non Christus.

Not reviewing the place, reviewing the doctor. Insufferably arrogant, doesn't listen. Maybe the surgeon stereotype. Even if he saved my life in the OR would be pleased to never deal with again.
