I recently went to see Dr. Alkouz at the Grande blvd in Rio Rancho. The doctor was wonderful, answered all my questions without hesitation. He set me up for several appointments for different tests. Which were long overdue, since I moved here 18 months ago. The staff was great, the receptionist didn't get annoyed since I have some hearing loss, and asked her to repeat some questions. The medical assistant was also very nice and helpful, as I brought my last cardiologist reports(in Az) on me. I am very grateful that I was directed from my health insurance to see these wonderful people.

Recently, I had imaging and other cardiac tests done at this facility. The staff was extremely polite, courteous and professional. Janet, Lauren & Taylor were very kind and compassionate. Janet went above and beyond to assist me. (I had fallen earlier in the day) and was very sore and in pain. She provided me an ice pack, monitored me closely and informed me that she would accompany me to the emergency room if I was interested. I declined, however, her kindness, attitude and sincere care lifted my spirits and greatly appreciated. Janet is truly the embodiment of the health care professional!

The doctor is great but the administrative side is seriously lacking efficiency! My wife has been suffering from heart problems and has even lost her job because of it. The tests that she needs to get better were identified by the doctor but the admin side/billing side were unable/to lazy to get the codes for said tests so that we could make sure that our insurance was going to cover it. So after a month of waiting for this appointment and constant pushing and reminding this facility to get us the codes for the tests, we ended up having to cancel the appointment because of a lack of codes. Now we're having to go to California for these tests, pretty ridiculous!

Considering i have ptsd really bad, from pres ,they were very nice

They have to reschedule my wife's appointment after a call was made day before the appointment. No email was sent also to at least try to contact us. We only realized when we came that day of appointment. Front desk also not helpful and not friendly. She just said we dont send message/mail for reschedule. If you dont see the call from them. You will not be notified in any other way. I dont know also if the new schedule will be final as the other comment from here happened to him that the appointment was rescheduled twice.
