Dr. Davenport is amazing. She did a surgery on my son when he was 3 weeks old and 5 years later he is still doing great. He has to have continual check ups to make sure he continues to thrive but that was something they told us would happen from the start. There can be quite a wait but I understand that they have to work in emergencies and special cases. While it is inconvenient for me and my family at time of the appointment, I am comforted in knowing they would do the same for my son if he needed it.

Dr. Shapiro is wonderful, informed, patient and thorough. He has been a tremendous help to my daughter. I have always been able to get a nurse/tech on the phone, every time I call. Huge negative though, and it is enough to probably make us avoid the practice in the future, is we have experienced long waits every single visit before the doctor comes in. Usually at least an hour, but today two hours, and that is just not acceptable.

I called yesterday to check when my routine visit would be and was told Dr. Davenport (who was awesome) was no longer there and wasn't replaced so I would need to call my primary doctor to get a new referral to where they thought would be best for me to be seen. I've been seen by this practice my entire life, was with Dr. Berman (who was AMAZING), then was transfered Dr. Davenport when he retired. I would think what would be best for me would be to continue with the practice I've always been with. A letter would have been helpful letting patients know they were pretty much dropped and would need to find a new cardiologist.

Wait times are usually 90 minutes + to just be placed in a room. Always had a good experience with the physicans after the horrific waits. Medical assistants are rude, unprofessional and have bad attitudes. Would not recommend for people who have children with special needs.

The Dr's are fantastic, but whoever answers the phone never seems to know what's going on. It is impossible to get a nurse/tech to call you back even when voicing the urgency of your call. Very sad.
