I can't say enough to praise the quality of care I have received with Dr Rai as my Cardiologist. To sum it all up, she basically saved my life. She recognized, from a simple statement that I made to her during a routine examination, that a previous diagnosis of my problem by my Primary Care Physician was incorrect. She then ordered immediate testing that resulted in bypass surgery a week later. I am sure I wouldn't be here today if it wasn't for her caring nature, concern and exemplification of all the good qualities of a true Physician. I thank God for her every day!

If you are "old" -- you need a good cardiologist. When you want an EXCELLENT cardiologist, book an appointment with Dr. Rai. Part of the Lovelace Heart Hospital system (also top drawer). She takes her time and does a THOROUGH evaluation of your situation. Best of all, she takes time to allow YOU to ask questions, express concerns, et al. Rare in today's healthcare mess. I would trust Dr. Rai with ANY decision she'd make regarding my heart health. You'll love her too!! Guaranteed. (Aside-my bias: I'm 77 and do not need a cardiologist for anything specific. I've worked in the US Healthcare world for decades and I can tell who are The Best...and Dr. Rai definitely is Top 1%.)
