See anyone else, I've had endless issues with this Doctor. Not only did he prescribe too high of a dose for blood pressure medication (which gave me terrible spikes in pressure) but he also blatantly refused to diagnose me with or test me for POTS. I had to withdraw cold-turkey from my heart med recently too because the pharmacy has reached out THREE times for a refill request and he never responds. I've been suffering for two months because of this.
One last issue to top it off- my chart clearly says, "LATEX ALLERGY". He prescribed me a heart monitor to wear for two weeks- that I had to remove after two HOURS because the latex gave me red hives. Seriously, the worst care I've ever gotten

Dr Poku is the best Cardiologist EVER.. He is a truly great Cardiololgist, not to mention the kindest Human you will ever meet. He once spent an hour on one of my visits with him teaching my grandkids about the heart. He is an exceptional human being and a world class Cardiologist. I have seem Dr Poku for over 20 years, I wish I was living in New Mexico, so I could see him in person. Once you have seen Dr Poku, you will never want to see another Cardiologist. Over the years I have traveled from where I live to where Dr. Poku is to get treatment. ONE OF A KIND Cardioloigist and kind to go on top of that. Our health care system would be so much better with more Dr's like Dr. Poku.
