On my first visit with Ms. Sopko after moving, I was originally impressed with her and left a positive review as a result. However, I must change that. At that visit, she told me she wanted to do an EKG. However, she had NOT gotten prior approval from my insurance company to do this, nor did she inform me that this was going to be an extra charge. Please understand, I am not experiencing any issues at this time, and haven't for several years. This was just a "get acquainted" visit. But instead of my usual copay, I was billed five times that amount. Because of this unethical treatment, LOVELACE HEALTH IS FIRED! Beware of these people.

Dr Sopko spends quality time with you and you can tell she genuinely cares about her patients and her profession. She takes the time to make sure every question is answered. I highly recommend Dr Sopko. At this point I only see her once a year but she takes the time to review and address any concerns you have.

This doctor literally spent 5 minutes with me and didn't really seem to care about my aneurysm. I asked her about test results and it mentioned being compared to other tests and gave her a date from 2021 and she said she pulled it up and there was no aneurysm. I just found that paperwork today and she didn't look because i did have one at 3.3 and now its a 4.1 i would think that is important information. She also said when it gets to 5.5 i will need open heart surgery for it but the surgeon said i would need surgery when it gets to 5 and i told her that and she said no . I have so many questions and she did not want to spend anytime talking or looking for tests that I gave the exact date from the tests that the heart institute ordered . I will be finding a new doctor
