Dr. Michael Hoskins

I can't say enough wonderful things about Dr. Hoskins. I was a first time patient from out of network, requesting that he interpret test results for me that had been ordered by another doctor. Dr. Hoskins had obviously reviewed my chart and the report before he stepped into my appointment. He was welcoming, professional and personable, he went through each of the 22 pages of the report with me, and answered all of my questions thoroughly. He wasn't rushed, and gave me his professional recommendation for next steps in my care plan. I only wish he was in my network and I could be under his care. Thank you, Dr. Hoskins, for being a stand out in your field, and for your kind, genuine concern for my well-being.

I have received excellent profession care from the Heart Institute and the Heart Hospital at Loveless. Dr. Hoskins was extremely patient and explained things in great detail. A excellent doctor and very professional.

Dr Hoskins is an excellent EP Cardiologist. He and his team performed a complex Pacer lead extraction and pacer replacement that had complications requiring longer than anticipated surgical interventions and life saving actions. I am grateful for the skill and critical care of Dr Hoskins and his team. What was originally planned as a 2 hour out patient procedure ended up an almost 4 hour procedure with a standby Thoracic Surgeon and team ready to intervene. Fortunately, the complications self resolved after immediate intervention. Rather than abandon the procedure, Dr Hoskins and his team worked through the complications and completed the procedure. Afterwards Dr Hoskins had me admitted to ICU for follow up and observation. He explained the complications and the completed surgery and intervention. He also ensured that my pain was managed. The ICU staff were fully engaged in my recovery and care. Dr Hoskins followed up with me daily and I was later discharged 2 days after my procedure when I was stable and in a recovery. I am sincerely grateful and Highly Recommend NMHI, Heart Hospital, and the Cardiology and Electrophysiology staff in Albuquerque NM.
