Avoid as an internist at all cost! He was my mother's primary Dr.. I noticed she did not look well but she told me Dr. Welish said she was okay after a physical, just a little anemic. I still went with my gut and took her in, long story short, she was taken straight to the ER from his office, required a transfusion (2 pints) and was diagnosed with colon cancer. Her oncologist at MSK said her 9lbs tumor was growing for the better of 5 years + and Dr. Welish NEVER EVER saw this basketball sized mass?! RUN, DON'T WALK (AWAY) from him!
