Optum Pediatrics - Teaneck

My visit today with Dr. Aliaga was so un-welcoming. My daughter usually sees dr Jenni, but due to her being fully booked. I couldn't see her. Which I don't have a problem with her being seen by another Dr. I would think as a Dr your main focus should the patients well being. I honestly wouldn't recommend her at all. She made a lot of passive aggressive remarks. Told me my baby had a cold yet didn't recommend anything to give her. Told me the assistant that took my daughter's height ,and measurements of her head wasn't accurate. Yet didn't re do it. I'm just in disbelief that she's still practicing.

They say the pre check in is mandatory and just spoke to optum and apparently it's not. The portal is currently down and not allowing me to check in and now I have to jump through hoops to try to let Optus know because I don't want to be tattered rudely or denied service because I can't check in online. The front desk her is awful!

All I have to say is that i am happy that my son is very close to the age where he can begin going to my doctor with me. Horrible service at my last couple appointments. Wait time is more than ridiculous. Without exaggeration, It took them literally 2 hours to see my son for a scheduled annual visit. I never want to see that office again.

i called a week ago to make an appointment for a sick visit. instead of calling or letting their patients know this office will be closed and relocated, they still had me scheduled for today. make it make sense.

Very disappointing. My children were patients with Pedimedica since 1998 and it was a fantastic practice. Since Optum took over, it's a nightmare. Long waits (always 2 hours past your appt), all the good doctors leaving, rude front desk employees. ** Ginny and the nurses in the back are great. The only redeeming qualities of an otherwise lackluster company.
