Best care ever! From the physicians to the nurses, TEXTBOOK bedside manner and care. The dietary and cleaning staff were polite and caring. Great experience from the ER to the floor. I was home and received many calls from the physicians and the nurses updating me or clarifying information. The neurologist, Dr. Tarulli, gave me such a warm and caring hug that I will never forget, when he told me my Dad's terminal diagnosis. I don't remember the name of the floor but it was the unit Maria is the nurse manager of and where Nurse Tiffanie and Khadija work. They were amazing! All the nurses and techs on the floor and the physicians were so kind and empathetic. The hospice team was amazing. My dad died less than a week after discharge and it warms my heart to know in his final days he received the best care!

This has been one of the most disappointing emergency room experiences I have ever encountered. My father, a cardiac patient, was exhibiting symptoms consistent with a heart attack, yet we were left waiting in the lobby before any action was taken. When an EKG was eventually performed, the nurse and staff demonstrated unprofessional and dismissive behavior. After being moved to the ECU room, no further care was provided. We have now been waiting for over five hours without any communication or update from a physician--at 4 a.m., while my father remains in distress. The nurse who came to draw blood missed the vein three times, further adding to his discomfort. To make matters worse, throughout his 17 hours in the hospital, he was not offered any food or water, which is both unacceptable and inhumane. Even the most basic courtesies were neglected. When I passed by the nurses' station at 4 a.m., nearly every staff member was either on their phone or engaged in casual conversation, rather than attending to patients. Adding to these concerns, the condition of the room itself was unsanitary. The air conditioning units were visibly dirty, raising serious questions about hygiene and infection control standards within the hospital. The conduct of the staff and the state of the facilities reflect a troubling disregard for patient care, dignity, and respect. Based on this experience, I would strongly advise others to think twice before seeking treatment at Overlook Summit. It is difficult to have confidence in a hospital that demonstrates such a lack of responsibility toward its patients.

I had the best experience ever at Summit Overlook Labor and Delivery! All of the doctors and nurses were incredibly supportive, kind, and full of great advice. My baby was born on 10/27, and the entire experience was amazing. During delivery, the nurses were cheering me on, it was such an empowering moment surrounded by strong, encouraging women. Later, when I had a tough evening with my newborn, the nurses were right there for me teaching me how to latch, showing me the 5 "S's," staying up with me as I rocked her to sleep, and even making me an ice pack. I'm just overwhelmed with gratitude and so pleased with how the entire team treated me. I can't thank them enough!

2025: Went here for a second opinion from Dr. John Halperin -- Neuroscience. He reviewed the previous results and performed some additional testing. Thus far we are impressed with his opinion. Will update after the test results are in and he renders his final opinion.

We recently delivered our baby at their location which is top notch and recently renovated. The pod docs do everything to respect your birth plan. Place is super clean. But beyond the facility, what defined our experience was the nurses . We researched doctors but not the nurses ( +residents ) and they are the ones that handle 99% of your time during labor. Overlook has some of the best nurses, Lorraine gets a special mention for going above and beyond. But my issue is that nurses that aren't good are really bad. The one anesthesiologist taht came to our room when my wife was 48 hours into her induction and crying in pain scared the hell out of us and was basically shouting. The nurse incharge at that time was trying to tell me that my wofe is not tough enough to deal with pain. Gladly Lorraine returned for next morning shift but the inconsistency was a bit of a let down especially cos it hit us at a super vulnerable time. That being said the post partum recovery room, nurses and staff are amazing.
