Dr Chung sees patients with a variety of heart conditions and specializes in diagnosis through noninvasive imaging techniques. He is an assistant professor of cardiology at Seton Hall University School of Medicine. Dr Chung completed his residency in internal medicine at the University of Pittsburgh, an advanced cardiac imaging fellowship at Stanford University, and a general cardiology fellowship at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He received the Melvin Judkins Young Clinical Investigator Award from the American Heart Association for his distinguished contribution to noninvasive cardiac imaging. He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and a member of its Cardiovascular Imaging Section.

Dr. Chung personally called me to discuss how he could best help with my situation -- that kind of care and attention is truly one-of-a-kind! The entire staff was incredibly kind, warm, and welcoming. An absolute gem of a practice! The only downside was waiting about 50 minutes past my scheduled appointment time. That said, I've experienced similar waits at other offices, so it seems pretty common in healthcare these days. Highly recommend Dr. Chung and his wonderful team!
Dr. Chung has been a wonderful doctor. Tells you straight what you need to know and what you should do to help your body heal itself and be better. But that doesn't mean he condemns or guilts you, after all the life we live is our choice. Great doctor, the office staff were pretty nice as well. They seems to be really invested in their work and my welfare. I look forward to 25-30 more years being seen in his practice.
Dr. Chung is not only a skilled professional but also compassionate. Every time I have taken my mother to her appointments, she felt genuinely cared for during our visits. He took the time to explain everything in details.
