Dr Weissman is board certified in cardiovascular disease and internal medicine. He is also certified in echocardiography and nuclear cardiology, He received his MD from St. George's University School of Medicine and completed his internal medicine residency and cardiology fellowship at Lenox Hill Hospital, where he received the Resident of the Year award in 2003 and the Harry D Fein Memorial Award in 2004. Englewood Hospital presented him with the Teaching Attending of the Year award in 2008 and 2010. Dr Weissman's areas of particular interest are echocardiography and congestive heart failure.

Dr Weissman is an excellent Doctor. I and my husband had been seeing him since about 2014. He listens to our concerns and explains things to us that we may not understand at first and considers what is best for us. He makes himself available to us even though he is very busy. I cannot say enough positive things about this Doctor. We are blessed to have him.
Dr. Weissman has provided care for both my husband and myself. He is thorough, easy to understand and kind. Furthermore he has always been available for consultation, be it day or night, and as a matter of fact, his advice was integral to a heart procedure my husband immediately needed. We have found too our interaction with his staff has always been considerate and completed with alacrity.
Dr. Weissman is a wealth of knowledge, and I always feel better-educated about heart health after I see him. The level of detail regarding our prior visit was beyond expectation. It had been a few years since our last visit and it was really nice not to have to go through all of my history again, saving us both time. Great office staff, too.
Rosie the MA was wonderful engaging and just made me feel relaxed. The woman who booked a test for me was through explained everything and easy to work with. The doctor was very professional explained everything and listened to me. 5 stars all the way from the front desk to the end.
