Dr Santana is a cardiologist. His main clinical interests are coronary artery disease; heart rhythm disorders, including atrial fibrillation and atrial flutter; heart failure; hypertension and lipid disorders; and valve disease, including aortic valve and mitral valve stenosis. Dr Santana received his MD from Universidad Central del Caribe School of Medicine, in Bayamon, Puerto Rico. He did an internal medicine residency and a cardiovascular disease fellowship at Saint Michael's Medical Center, in Newark. He is a member of the American College of Cardiology and the American College of Physicians. In addition to English, Dr Santana is fluent in Spanish. He joined Englewood Health Physician Network in 2024.

Dr. Santana is very professional and he is a very kind and caring Cardiologist. He took his time to explain in detail the results of my exam and EKG. And explained in detail further exams that he wants to perform. He also took the time to answer any questions that I had. I had a very positive experience with Dr. Santana. His staff was also very kind and professional. I would definitely highly recommend Dr. Santana to my friends, family and anyone seeking a Cardiologist.
My appointment was at 10:15a.m. And everyone greeted me kindly. The nurses were very professional. Dr. Santana is a caring professional very attentive to my concerns and explained everything in detail. I left reassured.
Dr. Santana and staff were courteous , kind and transparent in the care they provide to patients. The dr. himself is friendly and shows an outward humility in his approach. The heart is a very delicate part of our human anatomy and they couldn't be in better hands than those of Dr.Santana ! !!
