I've not had any good experiences with Dr. Shindler. After getting an ECG for my heart, he told me that he would contact me in order to discuss the results of the exam. That never happened. Nobody contacted me. Not his nurses, not anyone. In order to even see the results of my exam, I had to drive 40 minutes all the way back to the hospital and request it in person because it is impossible to reach anyone over the phone. Terrible experience. If I could, I would give zero stars. Switching cardiologists immediately. I don't do second chances when it comes to my health, and neither should you.

I went to him every month for about a year complaining about chest pain. He ignored it and told me to trust him that nothing was wrong with me. I told him to at least do an EKG or Echo, he said he had the results from last test (more than a year old) and that was enough to tell him that my chest pain wasnt serious. He wanted to "save" testing for a more serious incident, as my insurance wasnt a good one. Does it get more serious than chest pain and radiating pain? He put me on a nitro patch and told me to buy his book from amazon and donate it to a medical library last time I saw him. I decided his reputation was not a criteria for his diagnosis. I went to see another cardiologist. He immediately ordered a nuclear stress test and echo. Few days later, results from the test showed a 90% blockage in my LAD (one of the major arteries). I went straight to the hospital, had a cath, which confirmed the nuclear stress test and had a stent placed, as the blockage was more than 90%. There was also irreversible damage to a minor artery that could not be stented. This could all have been avoided that he cared for me at all. He was more interested in his book being donated to a medical school than my pressing condition. I dont leave reviews but this was necessary. He is a sore disappointment. I wish I never sought him out. I could pursue this matter but what is the point? what's done is done and no amount of financial gain will reverse the damage. Hope this review will help you to seek a better provider. To Dr. Shindler: I hope you become the type of doctor who truly cares for his patients, regardless of money.

Dr Shindler is a wonderful, skilled and caring doctor he took great care of me. I recommend him without reservation.
