Mr. Kourosh Asgarian

My husband Stephen Pillard had a LIMA to LAD off pump one vessel CABg on July 22nd, 2025. He is 85 years old, and now, eight weeks later, he is in pretty good shape. The surgery was under 2 hours, so my husband did not have to deal with the serious side effects of Anaesthesia. Dr. Asgarian did a wonderful job. Stephen stayed in Jersey Shore's ICU for two nights and was then released 2 days later. Regretably, he went to a terrible Rehab place for 3 weeks, which was a mistake. I finally yanked him out of that place, and he has been much better at home after losing @ 20 lbs at the Rehab, which only has one shower for 60 patients. He was seen by a doctor once there. In any event, he is now using a walker, but he can go up and down stairs and is much less depressed. Thank you. Grace Pillard (artist, wife of patient)

Dr Asgarian truly an amazing surgeon. Not only is he extremely skilled but he is extremely caring and kind. I am certain that he saved my life and I am so grateful that he was the surgeon that came to see me in jersey shore medical, I know that he changed my outcome for the best.

Dr Asgarian and his staff show incredible professionalism, kindness, compassion and knowledge. My son needed to be evaluated by Dr Asgarian for a serious connective tissue disease and he spoke to my son and I in a language we could understand. His entire office is so helpful and conscientious.
