He explained my diagnosis and surgery options that was easy to understand, making sure I felt informed and involved in every decision. That level of communication and respect is rare, and I truly appreciated it. Over the past 20+ years I've used several valvular heart disease specialists/doctors to monitor my heart condition. However, I have never felt as much trust as I did with Dr. Chirag Badami. My family owe a debt of gratitude to Dr. Badami and his staff. My mother's open heart surgery performed by Dr. Badami and his team has been very successful. While we were in the CVICU at Good Samaritan Hospital Suffern, NY; recovering from post surgery, my mother was monitored and care for 24/7 by a very competent and professional team of medical staff. Because of their constant loving and dedicated care, under the supervision of Dr. Badami, my mother's recovery from the triple bypass and valve operation was very speedy without any complications. Even she is back home convalescing now, the timely doctor follow ups prescribed by Dr. Badami is extremely helpful and comforting to know my mother is still being taken care of. I am very thankful and forever appreciative that God has arranged for us to be in the care of Dr. Badami.
