Hudson Pediatric Cardiology Center

I am incredibly thankful to Dr. Kotb. We took our toddler to be evaluated following the detection of a heart murmur at a pediatrician visit. This office provided a completely stress-free environment: from scheduling the appointment and talking through insurance coverage for different services, to being checked in at the visit, to being seen by the support staff, to being seen by Dr. Kotb. Doctor was very knowledgeable, patient and spent time explaining each part of the visit and answering my questions in an easy-to-understand way. Dr. Kotb was aware of how to ensure the best environment for a toddler to be evaluated. He had my child sit on my lap to be more comfortable during the entire exam (including echocardiogram) and put on a calming nursery lullaby show on the tv, and also walked my child through what would be happening at different points. The understanding of a different approach depending on patient age (especially a toddler) was wonderful, especially considering how stressful the nature of the appointment was. Some other things I really appreciated: this office was a one-stop shop and it made the process less stressful. I didn't have to go anywhere else for the EKG or echocardiogram, like a hospital or other office. I had initially been referred to 4 hospitals with pediatric cardiologists and it was a nightmare to spend hours on phone on hold and with different departments or call centers regarding the services that would be covered by insurance. I have a multi-tiered insurance: the specific provider /doctor at a hospital can be fully in-network (tier 1), but services (EKG and echocardiogram) performed by hospital (tier 2 with 50% coverage). I was quoted an out-of-pocket cost of EKG/echocardiogram starting at $8,000 at those hospitals. It was such a relief to deal with Dr. Kotb's office. I live more than an hour away and would rather spend my time making that drive than spend more hours on hold or on the phone. The office also has early appointment times, which was great - especially as street parking in Hoboken is tricky. I ended up finding a parking garage two streets away on River Street. I am thankful for this office and highly recommend it for peace of mind in dealing with - due to fantastic experience with doctor and the office.

Front desk was pleasant upon greeting. Moved in an efficient and timely manner. Once in the room, the MA was polite and made my daughter feel at ease by explaining what she was going to be doing. The doctor came in very quickly. He was welcoming, informative, and very nice. He engaged in small talk which is refreshing. He too, spoke to my daughter,which made her feel more comfortable. When I was done, my note was already printed in an envelope, so I didn't have to wait. Overall ,very pleased !

Hudson Pediatric Cardiology Center has been a true blessing for our family. From our very first visit, we were met with kindness, professionalism, and a clear dedication to children's health. The entire team--from the reception staff to the nurses and cardiologists--was incredibly supportive and compassionate throughout our experience. The doctors took their time to explain everything in a way that was easy to understand, answered all of our questions patiently, and made sure we felt completely comfortable and informed. They showed genuine care not only for our child but for us as parents, too.

Wonderful! From the day I called trying to get an appointment the woman who scheduled me was helpful fit me right is and was very kind. The day of our appointment our doctor was amazing she was kind a warm and personable. Dr.Mone talk to my husband and I about everything she was doing knowing we are two worried soon to be parents she made us feel so comfortable throughout the whole visit, she didn't rush us or the scan she truly cared. They also must have some magic scheduling because their was no wait we were in a room before I was done with my new patient paperwork. All around great experience, staff and office!! I will recommend them to everyone!

I like how the place provides a calm and friendly environment for families. Front desk and health workers were nice. Doctor was very polite. I appreciate how everything went really smooth from appointment to meeting time.
