Angel Mulkay, MD - Holy Name Physicians

I want to express my frustration with Dr. Mulkay's office. The doctor himself is excellent and very professional, but the office is extremely disorganized. They change appointments multiple times, and many times the patient doesn't even appear in their system. They never answer the phones, and sometimes they just pick up and hang up immediately. It's very disrespectful to patients and something that urgently needs improvement.

I so far have had a great experience at this office with staff and with the doctor. My concerns were addressed with compassion and follow-up appointments and exams were made immediately. For the past couple years I have had the same medical concerns that other doctors at other hospital systems ignored stating oh it's just stress or your too young dont worry about it.... But between Dr Green at Holy Name and Dr Mulkay I was HEARD. I am thankful for them.

I'm patient of Dr Mulkay about 14 years ago , in Hackensack's office , he is a an excelente Cardiologist, and professional, he explain everything in details. I trust him 100 %. The medical asistentes and nurse practitioner are very good too. Now I'm doing the appointments in Union City's office , all staff members are wonderful , I'm felling really good there . Dr. Mulkay is the best! I had to have a procedure done. I had not met him before the procedure he made me feel so comfortable and assured me, everything would be fine and it was!! Thank you so much, Dr. Malkey.

The reason why I chose other is due to the system only allowing me to address one of the issues and not all, there were so many concerns from office issues, office scheduling issues from start to finish, not recognizing my zoc doc appointment, the wait time was more than an hour, the staff is really rude, Dr mulkay is never available and they schedule you with him and then give you a apn who doesn't really know how to handle questions. I was going to not right. A review but I want to keep someone else from not dealing with the same issues , especially since your going to this Dr for your over all health and wellness. I would advise to go else where because they will cause your stress to go up. The staff is unprofessional and the statement from others are true, you may only get to see Dr mulkay once from the times you are scheduled so it's not like your truly his patient because being seen by him is very short and he is stretched between 2 offices and surgical procedures, with lots of patients that come to his office. I didn't know that they were so many issues until I had to experience them because I made my appointment through zoc doc and didn't see any reviews that were extreme, but truly stay away and find another office/doctor. I am upset that I started here because I am awaiting surgery and this place is holding me up. Was proscribed medicine and then left for a horrible experience with this practice.
