Big facility and they start early... saw a number of outpatient surgery and procedures offered here. Staff were serious and didn't have much humor in the early morning but they processed folks quickly and efficiently through the paperwork, and then the nurses and doctors were very professional and helped answer questions. Funny sign on the water machine.

It's a shame that Summit Health allows their employees to double park. This car has been consistently parked under the limited covered space. I saw the female employee get out of the car. It leaves patients (mind you this is a surgery and cancer center) struggling to find parking and gives them no option but to park under the sun during the 100 degree heat wave, far away from their treatment center. Do better.

Update: Nicole from Summit Patient relation department called me to let me know a bunch of lies. Dr. DeFazio and his team said that I was told numerous times of the date of my surgery and that I didn't want surgery because I wasn't feeling well. Nicole also said that Dr. DeFazio doesn't want to work on me because I violated the trust. First, I was not told many times of my surgery date. I asked for proof of that since my surgery never happened. I'm still waiting for Nicole's response. Second I wanted surgery this is why I begged and pleaded with the staff and spoke with the doctor and the doctor told me NO everyone told me NO and the doctor cancelled my appointment even though I told them all on that day that I didn't eat or drink anything. Finally, I do not believe that I broke any trust. I have every right to share my experience on a review. I can share every detail. What should have happened was an apology and a make it right mentality. I didn't receive that at all. I'm still waiting on Nicole to call me back with recommendations. I simply do not want a doctor working on me if he doesn't care about my wellbeing leading up to the surgery. This is Morris County and the way that I've been treated doesn't match the location. This is why I pray for anything major. Please take this as a sign to pray before you get anyone to work on you. The front desk and nurses are great. I had a schedule surgery for tomorrow but it was actually today with Dr. DeFazio. No one seems to care that I had to change my work schedule and try to accommodate me by doing the surgery on the day that it was told to me in writing. It's sad that no one could move things around as I had to move a lot around. I have low iron and low blood so this should have been treated with care and urgency. I never received text messages. I didn't get emails to my personal email reminding me days weeks in advance of the correct date of my surgery. Now I have to possibly prepare to try to do this again next year with a different doctor and different location.

I am a patient of Summit health medical group and have seen multiple doctors for pain management. By far, Dr. Michael Chung is the best provider I have ever seen. He is warm, friendly and compassionate and extremely thorough. Getting multiple spinal injections was a piece of cake with him. Everyone in his office from the front staff, the nurses and technicians were all amazing. I would highly recommend Dr. Chung as your next pain management physician!!!

In and out under an hour. X-ray tech is friendly and accommodating. PA is personable and answers questions in a way that is easy to understand. Scribe was helpful and attentive, made us feel comfortable. All had a good attention to detail and didn't feel rushed at all even though we came in last minute--sorry!!
