Dr Balog, part of HVA Medical Group, is board certified in cardiovascular disease, clinical cardiac electrophysiology and internal medicine, with additional certification in nuclear cardiology. His primary clinical interest is heart rhythm disorders, including atrial fibrillation, atrial flutter, syncope, and supraventricular and ventricular tachycardia. He has expertise in cardiac resynchronization therapy, radiofrequency catheter ablation and hybrid ablation procedures, pacemaker and ICD implants, and left atrial appendage closure procedures. Dr Balog received his MD from Albert Einstein College of Medicine.

Although coming to any type of doctor is not the best... Dr. Balog is the most kind, understanding and straight to the point doctor I've ever had. Being so young coming to a cardiologist is very tough and he is always empathetic to that. Staff is always nice and patient. I'd recommend Dr. Balog to anyone who needs a Cardiologist!!
My mother was hospitalized in Pascack hospital where she was consulted by Dr. Balog regarding her pacemaker. Dr. Balog is an amazing cardiologist and terrific person. He addressed all issues regarding the needed replacement, follow up with us and assisted with all necessary details and information. He replaced my elderly mother pacemaker explaining all process and addressing all of the family questions and worries. He went above and beyond to make sure that my fragile mother would be comfortable and survive the procedure. Dr. Balog is exceptionally great doctor and kind attentive person. We have to also thank his staff including Evet who assisted with the scheduling the surgery. Thank you very much Dr. Balog for your professionalism and good heart.
All of the previous reviews were from when Dr. Balog was with a different medical group in Central Jersey where the manager and the receptionist were very very very rude to the patients and to the staff. After he joined another group, my wife followed him and travels an hour just to see him. He is caring, meticulous and spends time with the patient.
This place is horrible. The staff is all over the place they take forever to get a small task done. I had an appointment for my girlfriend at 2:00 pm and was told to be there at 1:45pm. I wasn't put into a room until 3:05 pm and that was only after going to the front desk and saying this is ridiculous, even after that I waited 30 in the room before walking out. I would not recommend this place to anyone and avoid at all costs.
He is so efficient and answers all questions in a tone we can understand. He is a wonderful and caring doctor. We are so pleased and very happy.
