Fair Lawn Office (HVA Medical Group)

If there were a zero star option they would get it. I had an ablation scheduled the day after Christmas. Took 10 days off of work, and I don't get sick time... my wife took time off to be with me and provide aftercare. I was due in Englewood Hospital at 8am. I live more than an hour away. Followed Dr. Tiyyagoras orders leading up to procedure date. Arrived at the hospital, checked in, was admitted into the cardiac lab and prepped for the procedure. Was told an hour before while laying in a bed that they would not be doing the procedure because someone "forgot" to tell me to stop taking a medication 7 days prior. Discharged me and sent me home. "Sorry, we missed that" was the response from Dr. T and his staff. If an entire office and team, as well as a Dr can miss a medication a patient was taking before a heart procedure I'm glad they weren't the ones poking around inside my heart. FIND ANOTHER DR!

The doctor is great however the actual office in Fairlawn Englewood health HVA charged my insurance $25,000 with a lot of vague explanations all for some bloodwork to confirm whether or not I have lupus. This seems like an awful lot of money for some blood work.

Unfortunately, my mother was given such a hard time to the point where we are going to have to find a new cardiologist. This experience was underwhelming, unprofessional and down right exhausting. The staff is completely incompetent to patient care and core values in such a sensitive industry. Clearly, we will not be returning.

I have been a patient of Dr. David Chabbott for three years as my cardiologist. I don't even know why it took me this long to write a review or what made me even view some of the comments. All I can say is I am sorry for some who didn't have a great experience as I do. From the ladies at the front desk, the nurses who completes your vitals and weighs you in, labs being done, imaging testing, check out, and last but certainly NOT the least my nurse Rockin' Robin ..no words describe the day of light you given since my initial visit!!! You have comforted me greeted me as if we're family and your professionalism, education, and experience reassures me I'm in the right place with my heart issues - YOU SO ROCK!!! Dr. Chabbott is an AMAZING cardiologist and I am SO GRATEFUL he is my doctor!!! He stays on top of everything! Make sure I am following protocol and stays 100% on board what's best for my health and maintaining a good healthy heart LIFESTYLE LIVING!!! I will continue to stay with this practice for I am 3yrs post widow-maker heart attack + an emergency stent placement...YES I am BLESSED to be alive being 100% BLOCKED at 49yrs then a quadruple bypass surgery a month later. Whom ever reads this give this practice a chance! LIFE is short then + a pandemic on top of it...I chose to WIN

Long waiting and no response. My elderly mother received a call from HVA Medical Group giving her a message that she didn't understand. When family members tried calling HVA Medical Group, no one would answer the phones. We left messages and no one returned our calls. How could any important company operate a business in this manner.
