Dr Avner specializes in cardiology. His main clinical interests are coronary artery disease, heart failure, heart rhythm disorders, valvular disease, and preventive cardiology. Dr Avner received his MD from Albert Einstein College of Medicine, in the Bronx, NY. He did an internal medicine residency, and was chief resident, at NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi and a cardiovascular disease fellowship at Montefiore Medical Center, both in the Bronx.
