Would give 2 1/2 stars if possible. My father has been a patient for years. The doctors are excellent but dealing with the office staff is very frustrating. Closes for lunch daily, I assume but that is not stated on the message when you call. You are just told to call back during office hours and unable to leave a message. Very difficult to schedule procedures and messages for the scheduler aren't returned; even after leaving multiple messages for the scheduling coordinator. Communication about what meds to be stopped prior to procedure is awful. My dad's procedure had to be rescheduled multiple times due to poor communication. He had a procedure rescheduled for 12/26 but because blood thinners weren't stopped in time it was rescheduled again for 1/16. I begged to have the procedure moved up as it had already been postponed multiple times. I was grateful when it was moved up to 1/9. However, when the rehab my dad is at called to get the doctors orders the rehab was told he wasn't on the schedule for 1/9. I called the doctors office later that day and explained the situation to someone who said they would check with Wanda and get back to me. I received a voicemail saying the procedure is scheduled for 1/15, not 1/9 and that the hospital must have changed it. Feels like a blame game but I am at their mercy. Today, 1/8, the doctors office called to say the procedure couldn't be done tomorrow, 1/9 since the blood thinners weren't stopped in time when my last communication with them was the procedure was scheduled for 1/15 not 1/9. Very frustrating, incompetent office staff and not fair to keep postponing a serious cardiac procedure. Fingers crossed for 1/15.

DR Scheiner is the BEST cardiologist I've ever seen. He took the time to draw a diagram on paper to explain my condition and made sure I fully understood what was happening. He was very thorough and listened to my concerns while explaining everything in depth. I didn't feel rushed at all and I left his office feeling "heard" and "understood". I highly recommend him. The office staff was also very friendly. I was seen ontime with minimal wait time.
