Even though I am a recent patient of Dr. Dory Altmann, given my age, built in this review is a comparative experience of an octogenarian whose calendar is replete with physicians' appointments. Initially, I sought an appointment because of his stellar credentials. It was difficult to get one; however, my daughter's persistence paid off. What a match between his credentials and his practice of medicine!- a great physician and a gentleman. The Chinese term junzi (Jun Zi)which signifies wisdom, humaneness, and integrity captures very well indeed the character of Dr Altmann. Yes, credentials are significantly important, however, delivery is an important aspect of the art of medicine personified in listening, caring, advising, responding to queries especially lab results. Great doctor! Dr Altman called me twice in last week to verify I'm taking right medications but stuff is terrible. I got stress test scheduled today so I took off from work (lost $1500) and when I arrived at 8:00 was told appointment cancelled and Nansy called me 2 times and left a message what's a lie. I checked my phone: no missed calls, no massages . Plus me and my wife got some plans for afternoon but I'm stressed I can't do it. The most what upsets me nobody cares and nobody is responsible and nobody will be punished. If this would happened at my work someone would've interviewed by HR. P.S. And by the way nobody apologised and didn't offer me to reschedule!
