Horrible pain treatment a lot of trash on the floors plus only very few nurses are great but tonight on sep 11 of the 2025 the nurses and technicians of the 8th floor have been nothing more then disrespectful and mean. They didn't give the proper attention to the pations due that they rather chit-chat about the pacions while some pations are calling gor any help not to say that they are facetiming while work hours and making pations wait because its more important to criticize their pations they dont let you walk around at night because they feel like it also dont keep bathrooms clean had to call house keepers 3 times but never showed up on great nurse was nice enough to clean the urine mean while other nurses just throw and see trash on the floor thar could be s fall hazards but their answer its that they are not house keepers social worker dont provide proper info to the pation and took almost a week and few days for her to come around and provide information that wasn't proper for my needs and area that I live in can count with my fingers the good nurses but not mutch for the rest also ond technicians due that I was walking around just to control my pain by walking said "you shouldn't be walking around at this time" without fair reason to do so in addition to this she also ends the conversation by saying that "I should sing my self out" just because she was too annoyed for me pointing out the trash on the floor and while im typing this poor message about the treat mean I can hear them criticizing me as a pation and also feeling discriminate for that will try to take this issue as far as I can so pations can be treated better then what tonight's staff did crazy situation and by me having 35 surgeries in different hospitals I feel free to say that it has been my worst experience here tonight and with this one being my 36th they just don't act professional and with respect for their pations got more to say then this but Im sure people are gonna identify them selfs with this story.

Our experience at Cooper University Hospital has been outstanding from start to finish. From the moment we arrived in the ER, we felt we were in capable and compassionate hands. Every department we've interacted with -- from the emergency team to patient advocacy and care management -- has demonstrated a deep commitment to patient care and communication.
The medical staff has been attentive, informative, and incredibly kind throughout my daughter's stay on the 8th floor. They've taken the time to explain her condition and treatment plan in detail, always making sure we're up to date and understand what's happening. The doctors make it a point to check in multiple times a day, which has made a huge difference in both her care and our peace of mind.
Patient advocates and the care management team have also been wonderful -- providing support, guidance, and ensuring that nothing falls through the cracks. Their coordination and compassion have helped ease a very stressful time for our family.
We are truly grateful for the level of care and attention we've received at Cooper. It's clear that the people here are not only skilled professionals, but also deeply dedicated to the well-being of their patients.

After waiting to be admitted 9 plus hours onto floor 9 for chest pains and stomach bleeding at age 64. I observed a over worked and under staffed hospital, broken beds , alcoholic mad roommate, and no solid food for 3 days. Bodies littered the hallways on stretchers due to god only knows. If a fire occurred it would have catastrophic results.Doctors leaving before giving test results.Since my bed was first broke(would not lower) and bed two had no phone charger I went into the hallway and sat on the bench. While there the hospital administrator Joseph Hamlin was insulting a employee for having a customers bed left bumpy to which she replied it seems you are micro managing here. After several minutes of him talking to the employee he left and approached me sitting with my phone charging. He stopped and asked if I was OK to which I replied no , I have been to animal clinics that were run better. He became angry and stated I can't record in here. He wasnt aware of the law apparently and called security. Moments later4 security guards and two sheriff's officers arrived. Security requested to take my phone which I refused .The sheriff's who knew the law knew that he was wrong and this doesnt apply in this siruation. My medical history was blurted out by the administrator Joe Hamlin in the hallway as he was aware of my previous problems.Im still sitting and never stood up.I requested his supervisor ; who with her 25 yrs of service tried to deescalate the proplem Joe created. The situation left me upset and fearing for my already neglected health. This administrator is a poor example to other employees and not capable of working at cooper hospital as he is unstable to put it nice. The cost of medical care and to be molested in the hallway is hard to believe in 2025 in my condition. He needs to be fired immediately for customer safety. Until these issues are resolved this hospital is unsafe in my view.

So hygiene and cleanliness is top of the list for me. If this hospital had the type of cleaning structure that Jefferson or virtually have I would've gave them 5 stars and I would say my experience was great.
I delivered my baby Aug 31st at Cooper and all the way up until I delivered I was aggravated. Not because of nursing or doctors because they were all amazing and my birth experience was amazing! I delivered my babygirl and they put her right on me and highlighted the importance of skin to skin and didn't snatch her from me immediately which in the past with my previous two children gave me HIGH ANXIETY! They waited until I said I was ready for them to do all their stuff like weight and just the usual. Staff in that sense was super supportive and I have no complaints!
Now, the rooms, every single one, were disgusting! Bathrooms were not clean before putting me in there after a previous patient. I know this because of the hair and blood on toilet and the strong urine smell that I had to get house keeping to come in and clean. I thought that was supposed to be like as soon as one patient is done before another comes in room, not like a as needed thing?
Anyway I will never go back there as long as its cleanliness is kept like this. I'll stick with Jefferson or virtually.

I had lung surgery in April and my Doctor was Fantastic. When taken to my room after surgery I had to go to the bathroom finally a Nurse came in after pushing the bell several times and helped me. No one would come back to help me off the pot. I held on to things ( still groggy from the medicines) to get back to my bed and lost my bowels all over the floor. I hollared for someone several times and no one came. Me full of drugs and just out of surgery had to clean it up by myself. This happened several times. I looked right out of the nurses station and they were all laughing and talking and not responding to patients call. This is So uncalled for. I heard good things about Cooper until I experienced this episode. Horrible!!
