My husband recently spent nearly two weeks at Deborah, and the care was exceptional from start to finish. The SICU team, the 4th-floor staff, and every nurse, doctor, aide, and specialist were efficient, compassionate, and truly went above and beyond.
The front desk staff, security officers, and cafeteria/dietary team were equally incredible -- kind, helpful, and always greeting us with warmth when we needed it most.
Thanks to the coordinated, attentive care, my husband recovered smoothly and was discharged home sooner than we expected. We are endlessly grateful. There is no place like Deborah.

My spouse was patient in Deborah, Lesser 4, end of May into early June. I cannot express the outstanding care he received from various sub-specialties, Dr. P, Hospitalist, Mark, PCA and everyone. The list just goes on and on. Every staff member went out of their way to explain issues, in laymans terms, etc. We were blessed to be at Deborah. Accolades to kind, caring and compassionate staff!

I can't say enough about this amazing Hospital! From the minute we walked in the door they all have been nothing but extraordinary in every aspect! The surgeons Doctor Ross my surgeon and Doctor Cane were both extraordinary. The care I received in the ICU after my double bypass and valve replacement was both compassionate and caring at a crucial time in my early recovery. The Nurses Ellamarie, Gabe, Mike and Adam were absolutely remarkable! I'm just so very thankful for their commitment and dedication. Bravo! I highly recommend Deborah Heart and Lung Hospital.

My husband went in yesterday for a cardio ablation. I received news after his procedure he was in recovery for 3-4 hours. After 4 hours and 15 minutes I called the only phone number I was given and it went straight to voicemail. That person personally assured me that she always had her phone on her but what she neglected to mention is that she goes home at 6 and then I am on my own. I never left the waiting area not to eat or anything. I received a call 4 and half hours later that I could go up and see him in his room. I questioned why he was staying and they said that they had to keep the breathing tube in for longer and the doctor should have called me. Why, I still do not know. When I was on the elevator my husband was wheeled on and from that point I did not leave his side because he looked horrible and verbalized he felt horrible. He was wheeled into a room where the floor was soaking wet. I had to be careful not to slip. He had an aide who listened to my concerns and tried to help figure out what was going on. I asked for a supervisor who came 45 minutes later. My husband was finally seen by a nurse in his room 45 minutes later when his oxygen levels started dropping and the aide said she needed assistance. DO NOT LEAVE A LOVED ONE IN THIS HOSPITAL AND TRUST THAT THEY WILL BE TAKEN CARE OF. It was almost 8pm and he had not eaten anything. I was told a tray was ordered but guess what a tray never showed up. Someone went down and brought back sherbet, Jell-O and Ensure. The nursing staff never once introduced themselves. I was told that if my experience at the hospital was a negative one I need to call someone. It was easier to post online how unhappy I am and the lack of interest from the upper management on our experience with the recovery room staff who never informed me about issues with my husband and nursing staff on floor 5A that was transitioning between shifts for over 45 minutes and that is why he was left unattended. This post will be shared with the 55 and older communities that we are apart of. I switched to this hospital because of all the wonderful things we had heard. This post would have never gotten here if someone cared enough to call today and try to answer any of the above questions. I have my phone to verify the lack of communication received throughout the day and the 1 -2 minute responses I received.

Got a call back the day after I filled in the online forms. Chris Cattani was SO helpful. So kind and helpful. Explained everything and answered all my questions
A regular cardiologist office quickly sent the records that Chris needed from us and unbelievably there was a cancellation that afternoon and we were able to see Dr C and his fellow. They were both so great, explained the Watchman procedure to us.
Dr C said my husband was a great candidate for the procedure and we are looking forward to him having it mid-August.
What a wonderful place! Every staff member was kind and helpful, parking was easy
