As a now retired but rigorously trained and experienced Cardiac Surgeon, I can confirm that this is a superb Cardiology practice from front office to cardiologist care and quality. Lynn in the front office is lovely gracious and helpful and an excellent representative of a quality practice. Dr Chris Lawson is bright thoughtful thorough and well informed on the latest cardiology developments, and an excellent communicator and delightful person. His partner Dr Dourdouffis gave great care during my precarious hospitalization for sepsis endocarditis and aortic valve replacement etc. Dr D did several transesophageal echocardiograms superbly. And I should add that Dr Bob Helm did a magnificent complex urgent cardiac surgical intervention that involved much more than just the replacement of the badly infected and leaking Aortic valve. Portsmouth is very fortunate to have this superb cardiology and cardiac surgical care right here in our area.

I went to see Dr Dourdoufis and found the staff at the front area friendly as well as helpful. After checking in, the nurse came quickly to take me to the office and to run the vitals testing for the Dr. everything went smoothly. Next I saw to Dr Dourdoufis. He is always prepared and informs you of any issues he might want to test further. He's an excellent Dr and is easy to talk to as well.

My entire experience from the time I walked through the office door until the time I left was exemplary. The front desk staff was courteous and informative. The medical assistant was friendly and respectful Dr. D is a genuine person/physician who truly does care for his patients and their concerns He spent adequate time discussing my concerns and formulate a plan (that was extremely satisfactory) to be done to resolve my issue. I highly recommend this office and their staff to anyone searching for cardiology help thank you so much.

I've known Dr Dourdoufis for decades and have complete trust and faith in him and his judgment. His demeanor is calming and he's an expert in his field. He genuinely cares about his patients and their health. I've sent friends and family to him and they all agree with my assessment

As we age up visits to the doctor seem to become a little more stressful, especially to the cardiologist. Today's visit was quick, easy and pleasant. Dr. Lawsons staff was professional, the office clean and modern and Dr. Lawson doesn't need to see me for another year. Perfect!
