Great experience with Dr. Crawford and this office. They took me in at the exact time of my appointment, no waiting! Dr. Crawford is exceptionally experienced, he asked the right questions and has a great bedside manner. He knew my injury right away and explained in detail what happened internally. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anybody.

I could probably write a better review after surgery but today's initial visit was excellent. All the staff was friendly, helpful and calming. Dr. Crawford was thorough and offered surgery I was hoping for without me asking specifically. I am so pleased my physical therapist referred me to Atlantic Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine. Additionally since the surgery. Today is 8 weeks post op since my bilateral knee surgery by Dr. Crawford. I only wish I could have him for my primary care doc. The whole experience was better than anyone could anticipate. The surgery was completely successful, my mobility was excellent from the minute I woke from the anesthesia, I was walking within a few hours, eating and behaving normally. My recovery and PT have been excellent. I cannot only recommend Dr. Crawford highly enough but also the entire staff of the office, and Portsmouth Regional Hospital. The office X-ray techs were so thorough, taking angles no one had taken of my knees before and explaining what they were taking and why. The hospital was better than any of the big named institutions in Boston, every employee was nicer than the one before from medical/nursing care to housekeepers. The food was delicious and included healthy options. I felt so well informed about the details that I wasn't the least bit nervous, even my blood pressure stayed normal which is unusual for me.

Dr. Crawford was great! He actually took the time to listen to me and then explain what my prior Orthopedic Dr neglected to tell me. I felt very comfortable the entire time. The best part this is at least a plan for how this will go after dealing with this injury for 9 months! Thank you Dr. Crawford

Dr. Crawford's recent surgical work in "reassembling" my right distal femur was excellent. In addition, his post-surgical explanations and advice were incredibly helpful. I am grateful for his tremendous work on my behalf.

Dr.Crawford not only is an incredible surgeon he guides you as you start the journey of recovery. I had a very traumatic tendon injury two and a half months ago and now feel as though I can get on with my life. I just needed some expertise and support. The whole team has helped me along the way. The communication and understanding are almost as important as the skill of the surgeon and I had the best of both!
