What a breath of fresh air it was meeting Dr Wiedenbeck. He listened to my concerns, reviewed my care on a calm and professional manner. I did not feel, for the first time in a long time rushed or that the computer and typing up notes were more important than my health. Being in the medical field my entire life, I see the shift and pressure on medical personnel for documentation, patients quite often being just a number. He's a nice guy and, rare for a male doctor, listened while we discussed symptoms and options. But that ended when my DNR came up. He must think I'm a 6 or 7 year old child, to be told what to do. I'm a 67 year old woman who knows her mind and gets to make this decision. I won't be doing business with him going forward.
Dr. Wiedenbeck is great to talk with. down to earth, listens to what you have to say, he is a big fan of working out, he likes to say work out then when your done work out again. good guy
Dr. Wiedenbeck is very personable and listens well. I shared with him the recent death of my wife after a 5-year battle with Alzheimer's disease and he understood the stress I had been under for the last year with no free time for exercise, etc. He follows through on all tests and keeps me informed on MyChart.
