My Mother has been in there for almost a week. She had a very major surgery. Life or death kind.
This place is absolutely terrible!
They treat her like crap, the nurses talk crap about her, literally right outside her door. One day they literally left her food outside her door. She had no one there, no one came, and she was starving. I had to take a long drive to bring her something, and ask for this and that. Then they still didn't want to do anything. Its not a great feeling to see your Mom in so much pain and suffering that she's crying her eyes out.
They are extremely rude. She has been in extreme pain. All they think is that she wants to stay there to get pain meds. That, However, is the furthest from the truth.
They expect her to walk, shower and everything else after having a very major surgery on her abdomen?!?
They dont clean, the place is very filthy.
I could continue on about how much most of the nurses are rude and have absolutely NO Compassion! But it would be way too long.
Renown, You all really need to treat your patients nicer and have some empathy and compassion. They are there because they need help. Not to be felt put down, belittled and not want to ask for help.
If you cannot do these simple things, it may be time to find another line of work!
No wonder your ratings are so low.....

I have delivered two of my children at this Hospital and can honestly say that my experience was amazing. The nurses are so kind and helpful. Everything is explained so well and kept so clean. I was truly impressed. I have also had several emergency room visits throughout my life with my kids and myself. Every experience I've ever had has been positive. Highly recommend!

Had emergency davinci robot hysterectomy at the end of July. Despite a small hiccup upon checking in everything went amazing. The hiccup ended up being my surgeons bad not the hospital. The supervisor in the OR came and thanked me for my patience and apologized for the delay. I didn't even think it was anything for the hospital staff to apologize for but it was very kind and reassured me I was in the right place! Thank you Renown for all your staff, and my OR nurse who made me little heart bandages for my incisions.

ER/Trauma-ICU are amazing! So professional, competent, lazer-focused on trauma care and recovery. General hospital, I'll note a few nurses in the four days my father was in the hospital. Third floor staff, Karmi, Reese, Matt (nurse apprentice), and Ben. Fantastic, were so caring, compassionate, and helpful. There were a few other RNs or staff members that seemed absolutely irritated that they had to do their job. Dirty looks, big sighs, grimaces when you ask questions, and while I know there's a lot to get done in a shift, everyone wants to feel like they're as important as the patient next-door. Speech Pathologist Anna, also amazing!
There was a lack of communication between teams and staff a few times, that wasn't a confident or reassuring feeling. Lastly, in the four days that my dad was downstairs, I noticed only one time someone came through and actually mop the floors, did a "deep clean" and every morning when I arrived around 8:30 in the morning, I would pick up trash, plastic gloves, pieces of medical packaging, used towels, and dirty bedding.

My sister just gave birth here and all the nurses were absolutely amazing however the staff working the front desk are extremely rude and have very mean attitudes towards people which was very disheartening considering most families members come excited to greet their new loved one into the world . I would like to acknowledge that I know they work long hard hours in the middle of the night but sometimes a little kindness really goes along way especially when you are the person being kind, respectful and trying to be understanding of why they might be so rude towards visitors.
