Dr Robert L Baker, FACC

Dr. Baker takes his time during every appointment to ensure I understand completely what is going on with me and his reasons for his recommendations. His knowledge has made my symptoms disappear! Thank you to the entire staff!

I don't recommend Dr. Baker or this practice. The practice itself is very run down, unorganized, and the office staff isn't very attentive. They don't notify you ahead of time regarding payments for testing; large amounts are just sprung on you. Dr. Baker himself had trouble looking me in the eye when speaking to me and his communication style lacked any sort of pleasantness, empathy, or kindness; He comes off as egotistical. He suggested running advanced testing on me after a Holter and Stress Test and I asked several other doctors for a second opinion and they deemed his choices as extreme and unnecessary. This practice owns their equipment so expensive tests make them money. After rejecting the testing, Baker wrote notes in my paperwork that basically said I rejected his testing recommendations and he wanted to have this on file to notify my next of kin in case I drop dead of a heart attack. I cancelled follow ups with him because of his unpleasantness. Two years later I called the practice hoping to switch doctors (because the practice had files on me) and spoke to an office employee and she said she would notify Baker of my decision and ask if the change was okay, and they'd call me back within a few days. No one ever returned my call or emailed me back. Find a different cardiology group if at all possible or at least find a better cardiologist.

I've been going to Dr. Baker for @ least a decade. He's always been very knowledgeable and an on-the-mark cardiologist. He is a good listener and takes the time to answer any questions and concerns I may have. His referral for my open-heart surgery in 09 was excellent. To this day, I've not had any need for a pacemaker and feel great. He has my complete trust on all matters of the heart.

This office is the best!! Very time efficient and expertly run. My cardiologist Dr Baker, well let's just say, he will be my cardiologist until he retires or I'm gone(). He's no joke about your healthcare and I'm very happy with this practice.

I had my first appt with Dr Baker recently, and I love him, actually I love the staff and and environment at Nevada Cardiology Associates, every one had such a calming personality from over the phone appt schedule, check in, meeting Dr Baker of course and check out. I highly recommend Dr Baker or any Nevada Cardiology Associate specialist who best meets your needs. Cindy
