My doctor is Marina Plong, she is like a sunshine with beautiful smile and very soft voice!!!!! This lady is a real life saver, she can spend time, energy just for perfect understand your problems and pain. I feel so lucky and fortunate to find this kind of doctor, who will call you, after 7 pm, after her very long and busy day, just to check on you and make sure that your medication is working properly. God bless you, doctor Plong and everyone in your busy office. Thank you very much!

A few days ago, I had a Holter monitor placed on me for a week. After four days, when I removed the Holter before taking a shower, I saw that I had large burns on my chest. Before this, I felt some discomfort, but I thought it was just from the patches being on my skin for too long. When I saw the extent of the burns, I was shocked. One of the burns was bright red, with open wounds and oozing fluid. I called the clinic to ask what I should do, and they told me to come in for an examination.
When I arrived, no one examined me, and I received no medical assistance. I only spoke with the receptionist, who suggested I replace the patches with those for sensitive skin. I showed her my burns and explained how I could apply the new patches to open wounds. She casually said I could "just move them a little to the side." I'm dealing with a heart monitor here, how can I just move the patches to the side? Are we going to measure the ECG of my stomach instead of my chest? This seemed absurd to me, but I reluctantly decided to try.
I then asked if someone could help me with first aid since I had open wounds, and I needed something for burns, which I didn't have at home. The receptionist said she would contact my doctor, and the doctor would send me a prescription via SMS. Several hours passed, and I still hadn't received anything. I had to buy all the necessary treatments myself, spending a significant amount of money.
Now, I've applied new patches, and I'm worried about what will happen next. I'm really concerned that I might worsen the situation. If that happens, I'll likely take further action because this is a clear violation of medical standards and basic human care. It feels like a crime against humanity because when I came in for help, nobody even bothered to examine me. No medical professional came to see me. My entire interaction was only with the receptionist.
I believe this is an absolute violation of medical ethics. It's incredibly unprofessional and disturbing how the clinic handled this. I'm still their patient, but I don't know if I want to continue seeing them. I'm considering asking for a refund and going to another clinic because this experience has been horrific. When you go to a clinic for help, and they fail you like this, it's absolutely unacceptable. They didn't even change the device. My burns were caused by the previous patches, so the issue is likely with the device itself, yet they didn't replace it. They just gave me new patches for sensitive skin, and that's it. This is beyond unacceptable.

Dr. Marina Plon is a dedicated and knowledgeable physician. However, most of the staff is inefficient, lazy and borderline rude. To get a refill may take months and the manager is nowhere to be found, cowardly hiding behind some sort of anonymity. They never return calls, reply to emails and that is not acceptable in my world.

Dr. Leo Spaccavento has been my cardiologist for almost 20 years. There is nothing bad anyone can say about him to me. He treats you like you're part of his own family. As a matter of fact, he once told me, "I will always treat you like you're my sister". He wasn't lying. I know that he tells this to all of his patients. My other cardiologist at this office is Dr. David Navratil. I'm glad he finally decided to come on board with Advanced Heart Care Associates. I feel the same way about him as I do about Dr. Spaccavento. I always say, "Dr. Spaccavento is my plumber (primary care cardiologist) and Dr. Navritil is my electrician (responsible for my defibrillator). The staff at this office are always pleasant to deal with. Dr. Spaccavento's assistant is always very prompt at returning telephone calls. There is honestly nothing bad I can say about the Advanced Heart Care Associates team.

Dr Adeel is wonderful but the office staff are horrendous. From billing, to medications, to test referrals, every interaction with the staff will be painful and full of problems. Nothing like giving heart patients anxiety!!
