Dr. Moniz M. Dawood, MD

I have been seeing Dr Dawood for 20 years and he is fantastic in every respect. He is very kind, thorough, and delivers short wait times at his office. When I needed bipass surgery there was no one in this city I trusted more to diagnose and assist throughout the difficult life saving procedure and recovery. I cannot believe some of these reviews??? Dr Dawood has never been "money hungry" or " arrogant" and truly cares for his patients. I would much prefer a great Dr than a Mr personality, wouldn't you? Do you know that after I had my heart bipass surgery at St Rose hospital he actually drove me from St Rose to the pharmacy to get my medications and then drove me home and helped me into the house! THANK YOU!!!

I saw him twice. What a complete JOKE. he asked me the same questions over and over. Made me think he's practicing with dementia. So ridiculous an ex treme waste of my time. I never got a call back regarding my cholesterol medication due to his completely inept staff. So embarrassing. Typical of the less than satisfactory health care here.

Unethical$ and unconsciable$ MONEY$ HUNGRY $ heart doctor. He did not give the entire picture of patients health when he/Dr Dawod suggested that the 102yr male patient should have a temp then permanent pacemaker implanted. Based on Dr Dawod leading us to believe pacemaker would add longevity to patients life, implant procedure "not operation" would be noninvasive. We agreed to have ONE procedure going with a PERMANENT PAEMAKER. It was only after the "procedure to Implant pacemaker " had been completed that we learn from Hospital Dr Maxham that patient already had stage 4 kidney failure in addition to the bradycardia for which the pacemaker would help. Why why why? wasn't deciding family member notified of the kidney disease and why a pacemaker be suggested for an already damaged WEAK Heart muscle in a 102yr patient? Again : Dr Dawod is in my humble oppinion Unethical$ and unconsciable$ MONEY$ HUNGRY $ heart doctor.

I saw this Dr twice in his office after hospitalization. Both times he had no idea what was going on with me medically. He asked questions that he should have known the answers to if he had prepared himself prior to the vist. I also questioned his care in the hospital, it appeared that he would've done unnecessary cardiac procedures on me if I had allowed. I suggest that you avoid this physcian at all cost. He JUST DIDN'T CARE.

Went in to UMC Cath Lab with an MI. Came out with a stent. I also came out with a hole in my esophagus and the adjacent bronchial tube, which later fistulaed together. This experience took 7 months from my life amd nearly resulted in my death. This doctor is pompous, imperious, arrogant, and a danger to society.
