CHI Health Nebraska Heart

I am grateful to CHI for the care I received while a patient there. The staff treated me with great care and respect. I thank God for them being there.

October 6, 2022 I had just rolled up in the ambulance thinking i was having a heart attack. I was just being pulled out of the ambulance as a nurse started to introduce herself to me mere milliseconds before I lost consciousness. I woke up from a coma 3 days later and the first thing i remember is a nurse saying, quite proudly, Mr. Niederhaus!! You're breathing on your your own!! Come to find out, i had gone into cardiac arrest 9 times. Your doctors and nurses SAVED MY LIFE!!! All while dealing with a crashed computer system and having to handwrite EVERYTHING!!! I would love to come back in person and thank every single one of those doctors and nurses, everybody, that saved me on what must've been a crazy night 3 years later and im still going strong THANK YOU

I was very pleased with the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff at CHI Health Nebraska Heart. I waited just a short time before I was called to meet with a staff member to go over my records, and then just a few minutes before I was taken into the room where they administered my three heart tests. Shortly after, I met with the doctor who gave me the results of the tests. Staff members were very efficient and thorough. It was a very good experience and the results of the tests relieved my anxiety.

No one ever did call us with results, nor were the results forwarded to me VA doctor

They took some kind of pictures of my heart which took a while but went fine. Then I was supposed to see Dr Anu but she couldn't see me that day until after my caregiver/driver was off so we had to reschedule my appointment with Dr Anu for another day which won't happen until sometime in June.
