Dr. Schroder gave me my life back and was fun, cheerful and funny while he was at it. I will forever be thankful for Dr. Schroder's knowledge and skill being the surgeon who completed my PTE surgery. Not only did he do an excellent job but he was very attentive post op. He has great bedside manner (a lot of surgeons don't) and made sure to swing by ICU every day I was in there to update me on my condition and recovery. He made sure that I understood fully what was going to be done to my body and what was going on inside my body before and while it was happening. He took a complex medical issue and made sure everyone understood it (including my mother who is not so medically savvy) If anyone is in the need of cardiothoracic surgery I highly recommend Dr. Schroder and am grateful for him giving my quality of life back.

Dr. Schroeder did my triple bypass surgery on July 2, 2018. Heart surgery is major, and as a patient I was made to feel comfortable as he answered my questions and explained everything what would happen during the procedure. He and his team are all amazing!! This is my first and only review. Like others have said.. Dr Schroder is AMAZING. His team and Bayshore took my major heart surgery and made feel very comfortable about it. And talk about a top notch job. With scarring being a non concern in a case like mine i was amazed how they were able to do what was needed with such a small incision. I am over the moon and feel so blessed to have such a quality repair to my heart.
