Hate this place--which is horribly unfortunate. The doctors are kind and very competent. My doctor did everything she could to make sure I was very comfortable during a very UNcomfortable procedure. My experience was fantastic and genuinely left feeling great. And then came the bill. It was a couple thousand (I don't remember the exact number anymore; $2-3k I think). For reference, I recently had a repeat of this procedure at a different hospital (both of these prices pre-insurance) and it was like $300. Genuinely insane. I also requested an itemized bill not once but TWICE. I never received one. But even though I never received what was legally required, they demanded I pay or it would go to collections. So sad that such a wonderful hospital has such a disgusting billing practice. Unfortunately will never return if I have any say in it.

*My update is down below from 1 star to 5 star review: Their billing is atrocious! (Was my original response, I updated my negative review into a positive one). Their doctors and services are great. The billing is sub-par by far. **UPDATE: Come to the hospital and speak with the cashier on site. She was very helpful. Speaking to billing and insurance people on the phone is a terrible way to process stuff. She solved many questions. I leave this posted to help others. Also call Champva, they do help.

First off would like to thank the amazing Nurses , Techs and Dr Corn in the ER Department for the amazing care , knowledge and Patient Support that my girlfriend and I were shown in an emergency visit last night. My girlfriend was having difficulty breathing. I got her to the ER and within seconds the room was filled with personal and care started almost immediately. Multiple tests , breathing treatments, CT scan and blood work taken. The culprit was a DVT that migrated to a PE. With extreme care and deep concern Dr Corn kept us informed all the way and with meds the situation was controlled. We were allowed to go home fully informed and our minds at ease. Thank you again to the entire ER team for the care given and shown tonight.

Absolute worst billing department of any hospital I've been too. Staff while in care was amazing, but billing has been a nightmare since. Requested financial assistance twice and no documents were sent. Finally printed them off ourselves and sent them in. During which we received 8 phone calls a day and even though we stated were awaiting to see if any financial assistance would be awarded then making a payment plan. Staff said multiple times they would make a note but then an hour later another staff member would call and start the same cycle again. Now a week after sending in we get a collections notice despite being assured they'd wait and see. Nothing but a clustered mess of a billing department which can't even keep itself informed. 1 star is to nice of a review.
