Went for a 2nd opinion consult at MINT (Dunn location), given a poor experience with a different Dr who I saw at St Mary's Hospital, to discuss my venous insufficiency/varicose vein issue on 11/13/25 and had a great experience. All of the staff, Admin Zoe, Office manager Kierra, l Sonographer Mimi, and NP Sarah Ramey all were professional, listened to my concerns, and it was evident that they cared. This office sought prior authorization from my insurance in a timely manner and was able to schedule my procedure on 12/11/25, which went well. NP Samantha Daily and the staff at the Creve Coeur location also took great care of me in performing the RFA procedure to address my venous issues. Throughout the process they ensured that I was comfortable and also followed up with me post procedure to ensure all my needs were met. Great job MINT!!

I've gone to MINT for a couple years, usually to the Creve Couer office. I always had a fairly good experience with everyone. People seemed professional with each exchange. Recently I had a visit to the Swansea, IL office and didn't have a good visit. I think some of the same staff work at both offices on different days; I'm not sure...On that particular day Keiara was just unpleasant. She had this confrontational, condescending tone, a bad attitude. It wasn't just with me, i overheard her on the phone with other patients going back-and-forth with the same tone...Then when I spoke to Sarah, her tone was different, but still condescending. It's important that healthcare professionals don't "baby talk" all of their patients like they're toddlers or have dementia. I know it can be a bad habit if they're used to dealing with so many people in an impersonal way, but it is annoying....Zoe seemed nice, but it felt hard to be in that office for me for a short while, I don't know how I could do it all day....Everyone has bad days or a rough week, but it did not make me want to come back...And reading that they have offered discounts for reviews makes me that much more doubtful they could maintain a positive rating.

Dee and crystal are amazing held my hand today when I was in so much pain . Sam is awesome doing the procedure. Just wish I had more meds. I have so much meds I take. But definitely did not take Meds of my own. I wish I would have. I see them next week for ultra sound. Dee, crystal and Sam. Are awesome. No one else in that office can match up to there besides manners. They have a rude staff member that needs to learn from them how to treat patients. But Dee Sam and Crystal are rock stars. I don't like pain. And I'm in still in excruciating pain as I type this. Oh I need meds. I will call the there office tomorrow and my doctor to see what I can do for pain. Pain is 8/10 I'm crying. But thanks to Dee Crystal And Sam. I give you 3 credit for being so awesome.

I had my first appointment here today and every person I worked with was wonderful. Everyone was so polite and took their time to talk with me and answer all my questions, I never once felt rushed. I would highly recommend this office to anyone.

I do not recommend this vascular clinic. I went in for evaluation and a CT scan for possible Nutcracker syndrome. At my follow-up, I was told I'd be meeting with the surgeon, but instead, I met with the nurse practitioner who didn't seem very familiar with the condition. She printed out a packet from the Cleveland Clinic website and read it to me. She also printed off pre-surgical lab work and said they planned to place a stent -- but never explained why or gave me a chance to ask questions directly to the surgeon. After doing my own research, I found out that stenting for Nutcracker syndrome is now considered outdated and carries significant long-term risks. It's extremely concerning that they were ready to schedule surgery without a thorough evaluation or discussion. There's also other options for nutcracker syndrome beyond stent placement. I later got a second opinion from a true vascular specialist who confirmed that while I do have Nutcracker anatomy, I'm not symptomatic and do not need surgery. This experience made it clear how important it is to do your own research and ask questions before agreeing to any procedure.
