I had an ascending aortic aneurysm operation 3 years ago today. Dr. Schwabe did a wonderful job in the surgery as required. I have recommended her numerous times and will continue to do so as we are fortunate to have one with her ability in St. Joseph, MO. I would give her more than 5 stars!!

I am finally getting around to writing this. My Father had a major heart attack in January (Quintuple Bypass). After quickly researching who he should have, I was adamant that he was operated on by Dr. Schwabe. Very glad I made that decision, and after the experience, as well as speaking to so many (far too many) individuals who had her past, that has been consistently reinforced. He just completed his outpatient rehab and the whole family feels better knowing that he has her work in his body as he moves forward. St. Joe is extremely lucky to have her and her incredible staff.

From onset to surgery was a blur. When I returned from the cath lab, Dr. Shwabe was waiting for me. She told me the cath results and then outlined what she would do to solve my problem. It was sudden and I didn't register everything the first time so she went back through the process for me. I liked that she was plain spoken with no fluff. She exudes a quiet confidence that is reassuring to me. One of her associates, Daire stopped by to answer pre-surgery questions and post-op to check on me and remove drainage tubes. At my two week follow up I met nurses who were caring and cheerful. Great group of people. Caring and professional. Very happy she was on call that weekend!

After being in the hospital for 3.5 weeks and seeing every lung doctor there was jane walked in my room and a week later i was sent home jane is amazing and very compassionate. If it wasnt for her id be sent home with a pig tail and on hospice. She is a amazing human.
