Mercy Cardiothoracic Surgery - Mercy Heart Hospital Springfield

I've been slow to post very much about my cancer diagnosis and subsequent surgery for fear of saying something wrong due to the fact I'm still heavily medicated. I saw Dr Dante Dali at Mercy Thoracic Surgery and Heart Center on April 25 and he confirmed that I am now cancer free and was released from his care. It's amazing this was 3 days shy of 2 months since my Lobectomy surgery and a total of 3 months since my diagnosis on February 1. I can't say enough good things about Dr Dali, his surgery team and the nursing staff at Mercy Hospital. I was told it would be 2-3 days hospitalization and ended up being 7 days all spent in a private step down room (a room between ICU and regular )and they never made me feel like I was being rushed to be discharged . If you ever receive the news I did I hope you consider Dr Dali and Mercy Heart Clinic. They sure made my journey easier to navigate and after 3 months I can say I'm cancer free. God is good.

Dr. Bonnell saved my husband's life. I would recommend him to anyone. Being an RN I've known a lot of physicians in all settings, including major hospitals, and I would have to place him at the very top of the list. His expertise is exceptional. Knowing my husbands heart condition I was very concerned regarding his chances, it was that serious. He performed amazing surgery and his recovery has been exceptional. I am forever grateful.

My son had surgery here and they were awesome! Dr. Dali is excellent and cares about his patients. Good place if you need heart surgery.
