Frederick K. Emge MD

Dr. Emge was very thorough. He addressed all of my concerns and took my issues seriously. I am very pleased with his hesitancy to jump to a pill for answers and is very good at educating. I highly recommend Dr. Emge. He was also very kind to let us reschedule in a timely manner when we went to Springfield for the appointment instead of Joplin. He is a great doctor and as a mother to the patient I highly recommend Dr. Emge.

We had a very good experience with Dr. Emge. He spent a lot of time with us, listened to all of our history, and even came in during our echo and made sure everything was okay for our little girl. I feel he genuinely cared and so I'm surprised at the negative reviews. The nurses were great too!

He is an excellent Doctor. One of a kind. He takes the time to explain everything and share pertinent information. Great with kids as well. Kind, safe, respectful, and caring. This will be our chosen doctor for our families cardiovascular needs!

I am surprised at the negative reviews. We had a great experience with Dr. Emge. He was kind and attentive during our visit. He took a good amount of time speaking with all of us, including my daughter. We look forward to her continued care with Dr. Emge.

Walked into my daughter's room with the air of someone who had already decided what they were going to say. Didn't listen to a word my daughter or I was telling him and even interrupted us. Didn't even get to mention the ER visits she's had to do lately because of her heart rate and chest pain. He didn't know about her having a recent Holter monitor. Showed him the results the results on my phone. He literally read them out loud took his glasses off and said something along the lines of "there now I've read them." Hope he's right in the "there's nothing wrong with her heart". Worst experience I've had in a very long time.
