Everyone was extremely nice and efficient. Ashley my nurse was wondering, pleasant and friendly. Zane the PA that I saw was very thorough, and nice. Would highly recommend this facility. I did schedule a time for an appointment and was seen quickly once I arrived. You can walk in also without an appointment.

I'm leaving this review on behalf of my poor 82 year old grandmother. I have worked in pharmacy for 5 years and I know the correct terminology and medication names but do not wish to disclose her personal information, so I will be more vague. After her PCP retired, my grandma began seeing Dr. Pharris. My grandma has Afib and is on blood thinners, and also had arthritis and has chronic pain, mostly at night. A while back, she had been on a narcotic for a while and only would take half a tablet of it at night and maybe the other half if she needed it to sleep. From what my grandparents told me, this doctor prides herself on not writing any prescriptions anyone can "get addicted to" and took her off her narcotic and started her on a different medication for nerve pain, which made her feel horrible and dizzy. Which was strange to me that is specific medication is what she switched her to given that people can become addicted to this too and is classified as a CV in several other states in the US. Then, she began her on another medication that is primarily used for mood disorders but can be used for arthritis which she had no relief from, so she finally put her on an anti anxiety med, which tells me she was just trying to mellow her out so she'd stop complaining. Not only is this incredibly disgusting for her needs to be consistently unmet but to top it all off these can interact with medication she was already on in a negative way. I can understand how serious the opiate epidemic is, and why there is concern but why are we putting that fear on an 82 year old woman who has a tolerance built up to a narcotic because she has been taking it for so long? THAT, and her risk of overdose given how much she was taking it and how long she was on it was extremely low and she only took it to sleep. ONCE or TWICE a day. My grandma has dealt with her own body for many many years and was a nurse herself and knows how to listen to herself and knows what works for her. It broke my heart to see her in pain. She sought help from a new office and finally has the care she needs and is finally not feeling horrible after 8 months and can finally sleep through the night. When she told me she felt better I just about cried for her because I know how awful this has been for her. Please stop trying to drug perfectly cognitive patients up in different ways because they're complaining about pain. What you did was no better than giving her a narcotic and I am absolutely appalled. Do better.

I used the urgent care on 10-6. I used the "save my spot" feature, I was impressed with how quickly I was seen, how efficient and courteous the staff was. The doctor was very pleasant and immediately identified and treated my issue. I was very satisfied with the service I received.

Hubby had a big cut from a chainsaw I his forearm. Perfect treatment and sutures. Appreciate antibiotics. All involved were exceptionally nice except our assigned R.N. She was very stand off-ish and strange. Seemed uncomfortable doing the most simple of duties.

Appointment was scheduled out more then 2 months, soonest I could get an appointment. Then was told to arrive 15 minutes early to a 4PM appointment. After sitting in the waiting room for 38 minutes, I had to endure an hour longer sitting in a horribly uncomfortable chair just waiting to see the doctor. Over 2 hours in total for a 20 minute visit with the doctor. Cox Nixa Clinic is absolutely horrible. I like Dr Pharris but I will be looking for a new doctor in a private practice.
