Had a Hemicolectomy with resection. The doctors and nurses were very attentive to my medical and personal needs. Helpful and polite right down to the young man that cleaned my room. Great experience, will have no problem recommending St.Lukes and will definitely return there for any other procedure in the future.
Don't expect a callback or to get a message in your portal, probably won't happen. I have waited as long as a week and a half with no response. And you may not get results from your tests either, I have been waiting a month to hear about my cardiac pet results.My doctor doesn't follow through on promises to send notes on clearance to work additional hours either. It used to be much better but seems that they are "short staffed" and don't have time to respond, at least that's the excuse I get. Getting very frustrated and really feeling ignored and not important.
Very, very knowledgeable and very polite. You are not just a number. Side note: Dr Perez, cardiologist graduated from a medical school in Texas known for their graduates being in 'Top 2 percent Nation Wide.' As we all know, all schools do not always turn out high performers. So I personally recommend Dr. Perez who practices Cardiology at St. Lukes North Hosp on N W Barry Rd. Polite hint to all persons: The life you save will be your own.
I want to come on here to thank Hedi from the cardiology records department for going out of her way to help me solve the double billing error. She was just so kind, helpful and understanding.
Cardiologist was great and attentive to MY concerns and my cardiac history. Nurse was VERY attentive to my husband who wasn't the patient..
